My Vinyl Tiles Wont Stick To My Concrete Floor What Can I Do Its Driving Me Mad?
i am a contractor and if you are using self adhesive vinyl tiles they will not not stay down a cement floor. when i do a cement floor floor i use clear thinspread and let it sit over night and the next day i lay the tile.

if these are the peel and stick vinyl tiles, they probably won’t stick to a bare concrete floor. If you really want them down you need a trowel and some vinyl adhesive.
try gluing down some hard board then laying the tile on that
tiles wont stick to a dusty floor
Brown paper bag and an iron on a medium high setting.
Line up the tiles well, put one layer of the paper bag over the tiles, and heat it up with the iron. Might take a bit of time, but my husband has done this with our tiles.
Good Luck!
completely clean, any dust will prevent them sticking.prime your floor with pva glue to give a sound surface
try a self levelling compound, then when it is dry paint a coat of PVA over it.
ERRRRRRRRRRRR Don’t use them.
It sounds like you didn’t prep the concrete floor.
Prepping floor= clean all dust with vacuum. than apply a concrete sealer for instance (Thompson concrete sealer) the sealer is for water and dust particles. even though you vacuum the concrete will secrete moister and dust.
oh dont use them they are a night mare to keep clean and if not put down propely will lift and the corners
but if you insist on having them then the clean floor which im sure you have, and apply a really strong glue, evo stick was good at one time but if ya change your mind on the tiles it will be a night mare to lift.
I went down on my hands and knees and I used a rolling pin on every one of them and it worked ! I hope that the floor was clean when you put them down ! otherwise you will see little bumps all over . Make sure to put an old towel under you ,for your knees might get sore , Happy rolling !
