How Do I Safely Remove Scuff Marks From My New Vinyl Tile Floor?
I just installed the highest-grade armstrong flooring, but it’s very light in color and scuffs very easily (it’s in the bathroom). How do I safely remove the scuffs without scratching the floor permanently? Also, any product or floor treatment that will make it “scuff free?”

put a pair of heavy socks on and rub your foot across the scuff mark….it will come out…if it doesn’t…the next best thing is to try one of the New erasers …you can buy them in the grocery store…picture of mr clean on the box…..good luck
noo don’t know of any product. sounds like these are scuff marks from black sole shoes–try rubbing the sole of your tennis shoes over scuff mark and see if it comes up. next time put in ceramic floor tile and in the bathroom put in the heated tile floor .
rip it out and put in a wood or stone floor instead.
lighter fluid works but may damage the sheen. Consult with armstrong – if it’s really the “highest grade flooring” then it should be scuff proof or at least scuff resistant.
IF all else fails seal it under three to four coats of clear polyurethane – or clear coat.
try greased lighting from wal-mart or home depot. apply several coats of wax.
Brillo ,no joke.
