New Flooring!! It won't come off no matter what you use. My daughter and one of her husbands spilled some on the floor in the town house. I used everything I could think of.
I HATE that purple cleaner!! They do make a clear cleaner, but it isn't as well seen on the plumbing when putting stuff together as the purple is. It has a dye in it and the main ingredient is rubbing alcohol.

The purple stuff is a primer for the PVC pipe.
to remove the stain, try using acetone (also the principal ingredient in nail polish remover) or perhaps lacquer thinner. Just to be sure you don’t damage the floor; I suggest you apply either product to a small section of the floor in an obscure area first…

We had the same problem and found a suggestion on the internet to try using Goof Off. I was afraid that it may damage the vinyl flooring but decided to try it anyway. It worked great. If there is damage to the finish on the vinyl, I can't see it yet.
