What Would You Do????????????????????????????…
would you rather be in a room with a little water dripping from a sealing and your tied to a chair that is cemented on a floor with no way out or be chained to the ground over top of bamboo that’s still growing? Why…
What Would Be A Good Alternative To Carpet Shampoo?
I ran out of carpet shampoo, but I really don’t want to spend $14 for another bottle. Are there other really good alternatives to this?
What Would Look Good With This Bedding?
I finally found a comforter that I LOVE:http://www.bedbathandbeyond.com/product.…
My questions are:
- What color paint would you do?
- Would you use two tones?
- What are some coordinating colors?
- What kind of furniture (style and color)
I want white furniture, but I’m not sure if it will look weird. I like wood furniture too, but my closet and two bookcases, windows, etc, are white. I’m getting bamboo floors installed, a medium color. This is a teen room by the way, so let me know of any recommendations! Thanks (:
By the way, the room is medium sized. Also, if you actually link me to furniture, etc. it would be great (:
What Kind Of Rug Would Look Good In The Room?
I have a little 3×5 brown and beige zebra striped pottery barn rug in here, but I want to move it into my bedroom because my mom painting some amazing zebra paintings for it, and the rug simply goes with my decor in there. I love that this rug is a little eccentric in my living room- that it’s mismatched in a matching kind of way. I need to do this with another rug. I’m really drawn to cream flokati rugs, and it’d be a nice neutral in here (because my paintings are very colorful). But I’m going to be honest, I know what I like and I know that I have absolutely no idea what matches or goes with what or looks best. I was also considering a black and white floral toile rug, but would that look terrible considering I have dark brown bamboo floors and a dark brown couch? What other rug suggestions do you have you tasteful people!?
Thank you ahead of time.
Also… here is a little section of my living room to give you an idea…http://i964.photobucket.com/albums/ae126…
How Much Value Would Tiles And Carpet Add To My House?
I want top get my house revalued. I have painted the whole house inside and out, so it looks nice. The only bad part is the floor. It has really old, prehistoric old lino on the floor. And it is covered in paint too but not lefting or anything. Would it be beneficial to tile and carpet the house before i get it valued? It is going to cost me a few thousand $, and just wondering if my valuation will go up a few thousand to make it worth while?
My Kitchen Is Covered In Old Deep-cut Patterned Vinyl Floor Tiles Which Would Be Impractical To Remove.?
I wold like to lay a vinyl covering over the old tiles but the pattern may show through in time. If I used a levelling compound then whatever it sets against would be glued into it. Can anyone give me any advice, please?
Can You Tint Or Paint Over Existing Vinyl Floor? It Would Be Torture For My Back To Replace It.?
I hastily chose a light / white vinyl sheet flooring for the kitchen to my regret. I’m thinking about tinting or painting every other square if it’s possible.
What Would Make A Supposedly “new” Carpet Become Discolored And Dirty Appearing Without Reason?
This is a serious question. I believe that I may the tenant of a slum-lord who uses cheap material that appear nice, but quickly deteriorate. The carpet in my new apartment seems to be getting darker each time I vacuum. Is it cheap? Or what could cause this?
Do You Think More People Would Be More “green” If They Saw The Financial Benefit To Them?
Don’t get me wrong, I think global warming has been used as a political tool to gain votes, and has been seriously blown out of proportion. I think there’s probably a natural cycle to the earth’s temperature, but I don’t think our SUV’s are going to cause the world to end like some people are claiming.
I’m buying bamboo flooring for my house, not because they’re the most eco-friendly flooring, but because they’re inexpensive and they look nice. I don’t drive an SUV, not because I think they’re ending the world, but because I can’t afford to put gas in one.
I use fluorescent bulbs, not because I want to be green, but because I want to save money and change my bulbs less.
SO – maybe I’m the only one who feels this way, but wouldn’t it be a much better political tool to point out the financial gain of doing things that are environmentally friendly, versus alienating everyone who doesn’t jump on the bandwagon?? I think most people are reasonable, they just don’t like to be insulted
What Type Of Flooring Would You Use In A Kitchen And Dining Room That Are Open And Connected?
I was going to use some wood look vinyl flooring, but after pricing it out, I’m not so sure. I know laminate isn’t right for the kitchen and I hate the feel of tile underfoot. What would you suggest? The kitchen and dining room are connected and there is no wall separating the 2 rooms.
Please and thank you!
