What Type Of Flooring To Look For?
We are remodeling our bathroom. We are unsure of what kind of flooring to put in. We were going to put tile in, until we noticed that the floor is not very level, so we are afraid of the tiles lifting. So then we thought linoleum, but we want the floor to hold up and not look cheap. So would vinyl flooring be the way to go? And are there different grades of vinyl?
Cheapest Way To Do Floors? Which Type?
What would be the best option for the least amount of money? Im doing a space thats about 300 square feet.
Very tight on money. What floors are cheap but good quality? I dont want vynil or any of that crap. Wood, bamboo, concrete, tile, etc.
Thank you for your help!
p.s. it would be great if you could direct me to where I would get the best deal on your suggestion. Craigs list, ebay, homedepot?
What Is The Best Type Of Carpet To Buy If You Have Dogs?
I have berber and it’s miserable, traffic stains every week. My dachshund is also a digger and has easily dug 2 holes in different areas. Although when the dogs shed you can barely see it in the carpet.
I also have a rug in the living room that attracts dog hair and is almost possible to clean up.
What is the best type to buy next time? Something thick? What color disguises traffic dirt and dog hair?
Best Type Of Flooring For A Basement That Might Get Water 1-2 Per Year?
Our basement only gets water rarely, and if so, not very much. We wanted to put some indoor/outdoor carpet down there, or maybe vinyl flooring… what do you suggest?
We’d like to use it as a family room… for my young son… maybe a toy room with an extra tv and couch.
Thanks!
What Type Of Flooring Has The Least Maintenance?
Tile is high maintenance. Wood is high maintenance. Carpet, well that’s just retarded. Don’t say vinyl flooring, because that’s just fake. What type of flooring has the least maintenance?
What Type Of Flooring Would You Use In A Kitchen And Dining Room That Are Open And Connected?
I was going to use some wood look vinyl flooring, but after pricing it out, I’m not so sure. I know laminate isn’t right for the kitchen and I hate the feel of tile underfoot. What would you suggest? The kitchen and dining room are connected and there is no wall separating the 2 rooms.
Please and thank you!
What Type Of Flooring To Use In Living Room?
Hello – After having lived in a house with NO wood, I am delighted now to have moved into a house that is full of beautiful oak, including oak doors and oak window frames in most rooms.
What the house does not have, however, is wood flooring. I’m happy with the new ceramic tiling I chose for the kitchen and entryways, but I am very unhappy with the cork floor I put in the family room – it has faded badly where it is exposed to sunlight, the seams are more prominent than I expected, and it just doesn’t look as rich as I had hoped it would.
Now I want to get rid of the carpet in the living room, but I am puzzled: The living room is not large, and I fear it might be too much of a good thing to put down flooring that matches the oak doors and window frames; still, I don’t trust myself to blend different woods and colors. I’m interested in bamboo, but I don’t know if it would harmonize with the oak – I don’t want again to spend a lot of money and be as disappointed as I am with the cork flooring.
I should add that our style is very casual, and that we have nine cats (yes, honestly)– so high quality, durable flooring is important.
Thank you for any ideas!
What Type Of Flooring Is Easiest In Kitchen And Less Expensive That We Can Do Ourselves?
We have tile looking vinyl flooring right now. I love my floor but it has to go to add new cabinets, extra wall cabinets and a middle cabinet island. What have others did for their flooring that is easy and not too expensive. We have a good solid wood surface under (1) layer of vinyl flooring to work with. Thanks for any help and answers……

What Color Should I Paint My Basement And What Type Of Carpet Goes Good In The Basement?
I am in the process of getting my basement finish. I would like to know what color should i paint the walls and what type of carpet would go well. I was thinking of like a slate blue for the walls and gray/blue berber carpet. tell me what you think. Or should i just go with the safe white walls beige carpet? The basement is small and I may need to rent it out in the future. thanks a million
