Author: Each morning our cat is meowing outside our door and clawing/ripping up the carpet because we close the door to sleep. As soon as she is let in she climbs on the bed to sleep. To save the carpet i want to leave the door open but I don’t want to sleep with her.
How To Stop My Chihuahua From Eating On The Carpet?
My chihuahua has a very annoying habit of taking food from her bowl and eating it on the living room carpet. She will take the food there, eat it, trot back to the kitchen to get another bite of food and then take it back to living room to eat it. Why can’t she eat the food at the bowl like other dogs do? How can I stop her from doing this? There are food bits all over the carpet. When I yell at her about it she will drop the food and look pitiful. I tried to put a little fence around her and the food bowl but she will just sit there looking pitiful again for a very long time and not touch her food until I can’t take it anymore and lift the fence. Then she will start to eat.

How Else Can I Stop My Carpet From Getting So Dirty?
It seems like no matter what I do, my carpet seems to get really dirty, really quick. I try to get the spots out with carpet cleaner, but they just come back a week later. I tell people to take their shoes off at the door, but there still are tracks on my carpets where people walk through. It doesn’t matter how much I vacuum, it makes no difference. Please help, because I can get the rest of the house spotless, but when the carpet looks bad, I still feel like the house is dirty.
How Do I Stop Old Floor Tiles From Showing Through A Layer Of Self-adhesive Vinyl Floor Tiles?
I laid some sticky vinyl floor tiles, over old flooring in the kitchen when I moved in. They were red clay ( I think) brick like floor tiles, and hard on the feet as there’s no heating and was a cheap way of coping. But a few months ago, the grooves and shape of the old tiles began to show through the newer vinyl covering, which makes it look untidy. Should I have prepared the floor somehow beforehand?

I followed manufactures instructions , cleaned concrete floor pryer to installing. opened boxes, stacked criss cross, waited two day for flooring to adjust to room temp. trowel down with mastic glue. checked floor for leveling (o.k.) Should I have left room for expantion between the tounge and grooves ?
