Unique Ideas For Flooring In New Home. Out Of The Box Ideas?
bamboo, cork, concrete. all great ideas for flooring, but does anyone have any really unique, “out of the box” ideas for durable, cost friendly flooring for living/dining/bedrooms? my style is modern so anything that may have a modern edge would be great!
What Type Of Flooring Is Best For Durabilility And Low Maintenance In A New Build Home?
Friends of ours are building a new home. They love the look of traditional hardwood, over the laminate versions, but would like something with more durability and less maintenance. We’ve heard that bamboo dents easily. Can anyone offer other suggestions? Also looking for different options in bathroom flooring. Thanks!

Is It Possible To Convert A Pre-installed Home Carpet To An Area Rug?
I have a carpet that I am having removed in order to install hardwood floors. The carpet itself is only about a year old and still in very good condition. (If we didn’t have pets we would probably keep it.) We have another house we would like to put the carpet in, but would only like to do so in the form of an area rug.
Is this kind of transplant possible? Has anyone ever done this? What are some other options?

Can You Replace The Carpet In A Mobile Home With Linoleum Or Vinyl Flooring?
yes, after you remove the carpet, pad, staples, tack strip and back up nails you can put down any floor you want as long as you have a good subfloor to work with and since it is a mobile home you will have to sub floor these areas. you can save a few buck by using particle board instead of plywood the particle board will give you a smoother finish than the plywood you will still have to use a floor patch to float over the seams when the floor is nailed down and you will have to float over the nail holes, 2 times should do it, when you nail the particle board down nail the edges 3 inches apart and the field of the area about every 6 inches, you will want to nail one side and then go side to side so you don’t have any humps in the floor. when you go to by the particle board don’t let them try and sell you tempered hardboard it will not work the same. the glue will not stick to the tempered hardboard. when you buy your vinyl if you are going to have any seams in it like at doorways or in a kitchen make sure they sell you the correct seam sealer for it. if the vinyl is made by armstrong you will need and armstron sealer same goes for congoleum, domco, or mannington brands hope this has helped.

How To Install Home Depot’s Traffic Master Vinyl Plank Flooring?
We want to put this over our existing vinyl tile floor in the kitchen. But there are a few tiles in the kitchen which have cracked and there are little pieces loose. what do we need to do? Remove the cracked tiles? If there something we need to do to prep the floor before we put this down? Anybody have any experience with this please let me know. Thanks!

Any Home Remedies To Bring Back The Whiteness Of My Home Carpet That Carpet Cleaners And Sears Cant Seem 2 Do?
Wife wants to replace carpet with stimulus check if i cant find a way to bring back the life to our 15yo living room carpet! Ive had Sears come in and say because its an expensive carpet they cant get all the stains out and even the Ace hardware carpet cleaners dont do it! Any unorthdox suggestions on how i might clean and whiten the life back into this carpet?

If A Home Cleaner Damages Your Carpet, Who Is Responsible?
A home cleaner was vaccuming our home and a strip of the berber carpet was taken up into the vaccuum and now there is a 3 foot strip out of the carpet. Who is responsible? The cleaning company, carpet company (carpet is only 4 months old), or my homeowners insurance?
