How Do You Repair A Cigarette Burn In The Carpet Of Your Home?
I was drinking last night and one thing lead to the next. I woke up and noticed a cigarette burn in my bedroom carpet. What would be the best way to repair the burned area of carpet. I have been looking at several ideas on the Internet and I am up for a few more.

OK the previous homeowner was a smoker and the house reeks of smoke however we want to be financially smart and tackle projects 1 at a time, we know we are going to paing, clean air ducts etc. However r lost abt flooring ALL of the carpet in the house needs to be replaced however should we just do a professional clean on the carpet in there until we lay our bamboo floors, lay a partial amnt of bamboo floors or just lay new carpet down until we can afford the bamboo floors in a couple of wks what would you do. Can Particle Board Flooring In A Mobile Home Go From Swollen Back To Almost Normal?
My father lives in a 1998 mobile home. His air conditioner drain pipe clogged up and water was leaking under the vinyl flooring for quite a while before I noticed the floor was swollen up. His unit has been replaced so there hopefully will be no more leaking water. Now that the particle board is swollen up, must it be replaced with new board or will it ever dry back out and go back down some? How big a deal is this going to be?

What Have You Done With The Ugly Carpet In Your Rental Home?
I just moved into a new rental home. Unfortunately there is butt ugly forest green carpet in the living area, hall, and bedrooms. I could probably deal with it in the bedrooms but my living room? Oh no. No way. Anybody have a good solution? I tried to pull it up; can’t really tell if there is anything under there. The landlord doesnt care what i do…as long as i pay for it…and no im not getting new carpet laid; It is a rental after all.
What Is A Healthy Floor Covering (not Vinyl) For A Bathroom Floor In A Mobile Home With Partical Board Floors?
I have a 1999 Fleetwood Mobile Home and I want to put a new floor cover in my bathroom. I do not want to use Vinyl, because the chemicals it is said to “put off” into the air, but I am unsure if I can use tile because of the flex and because of the weight. I pulled up some of the vinyl flooring that I have and found particle board underneath. What are my best “healthy flooring” choices?
