Cheapest Way To Do Hard Wood Floors?

Author: My mom is opening up a little store that is about 300 square feet (20×15). It is in need of serious renovation. This is going to be my first real design project (I’m a student studying interior design) but I need a little help.
We are very tight on money and I wanted to know the best way to do the floors. We want to do hardwood, specifically reclaimed or bamboo. I am going to try Craig’s list and such but i need some more ideas please.

Is Carpet Or Hard Wood Better To Put In A Rental Property In A Lower Income Area?
I just got my first rehab duplex and I am wondering what to do with the flooring. Hardwood doesn’t have to get replaced all the time like carpet can, but I noticed that when we walk on the upper unit it can be very loud for the lower unit. Would carpet make a big difference in how much sound would come from kids running around etc. in the upper unit for people living below?
