I walked across the dance floor, unsure what I was doing here. What was I doing here? That was the question that I was afraid of. “Hello Catherine.” The voice said. I was spinning in circles trying to find the voice. It was storming outside. The lightening flashed and I caught a glimpse of what he looked like. Tan, with short black hair, and with a small scar next to his lips. It is very noticeable. You could probably see it miles away. “What do you want?” I asked him. Trying not to shiver with fear. “You’re afraid. I can smell it.” He stated, ignoring my question. So I decided to repeat the question. “What do you want?” I asked once again. “You see this bomb?” He asked. I nodded. Even though this room was dark, I could see it very well. “I press this button and we all go up in flames.” He threatened.” You wouldn’t.” I told him. I knew exactly where my gun was. In my car, in the console. It was then when I realized who it was. “You killed my parents.” I accused him darkly. “Yes. But I had no clue that you would take your father’s place as a FBI.” He finished his sentence with a darkly smile. I didn’t trust the smile, one bit. He took a step towards me. I was backing up. In one swift moment, his face was right in front of mine. I lifted my leg and kicked him in the face. Forcing him to go to the floor. I learned that in mine ten years there. He got on his knee’s, touching the place that I kicked him at. It was bleeding fiercely. He now got onto his feet. I grabbed a sick of bamboo that was in the room. He grabbed another piece of bamboo. He swung his piece at my feet. I jumped up.
It was a fight, woman against man. “I would hit you, but you’re a woman.” He said inhaling deeply. We both put the bamboo up. Now we were facing each other. “Yeah, well that’s not stopping me.” I said, and with that I punched him. “You’re going to pay.” He said as he was crawling towards the button. I decided that it was time for me to leave. I ran as fast as I could. I was down the hall when I heard a faint scream. With me knowing that this place was about to be going into flames. I went into the room. There was a boy. He was about seventeen, or possibly eighteen. I untied him and we ran. I glanced at him, he was cut up badly, and I think he might have a broken arm. He never moved that arm. We were now outside. I heard the explosion. “Get down!” I yelled at him. He did as he was told. I did the same.

I am putting in a new kitchen floor and I was thinking of doing vinyl floor tiles, are these a good floor choice? Also, can you grout between the tiles if you want a more ceramic tiled look?

I ran out of carpet shampoo, but I really don’t want to spend $14 for another bottle. Are there other really good alternatives to this?

- Would you use two tones?
- What are some coordinating colors?
- What kind of furniture (style and color)
I want white furniture, but I’m not sure if it will look weird. I like wood furniture too, but my closet and two bookcases, windows, etc, are white. I’m getting bamboo floors installed, a medium color. This is a teen room by the way, so let me know of any recommendations! Thanks (:

I have a little 3×5 brown and beige zebra striped pottery barn rug in here, but I want to move it into my bedroom because my mom painting some amazing zebra paintings for it, and the rug simply goes with my decor in there. I love that this rug is a little eccentric in my living room- that it’s mismatched in a matching kind of way. I need to do this with another rug. I’m really drawn to cream flokati rugs, and it’d be a nice neutral in here (because my paintings are very colorful). But I’m going to be honest, I know what I like and I know that I have absolutely no idea what matches or goes with what or looks best. I was also considering a black and white floral toile rug, but would that look terrible considering I have dark brown bamboo floors and a dark brown couch? What other rug suggestions do you have you tasteful people!? Thank you ahead of time.

Spending the last day of school sick in bed, wasn’t what I planned. I planned to spend it with my friends, in the gloomy hallways of our high school. When the final bell would ring, we would all go to the beach and start soaking up the sun. But, no, my plans were ruined thanks to my nausea and fever. After watching a few minutes of never ending commercials, I flicked off the TV and got up out of bed. My feet were cold once they touched the bamboo flooring in my room. I shiver and pull a blanket off my bed and wrap it around me. I walk to the top of my stairs, about to take the first step down, and I hear my stomach growl. The kitchen was in front of the stairs, so I didn’t have a long way to go to get to my destination. My kitchen was small, just a fridge, a pantry, a stove, a microwave- the normal deal. I could still smell the bowl of chicken noodle soup I left on the counter this morning. I grab the bowl then go to the pantry and grab some saltine crackers. I sit down at the kitchen table and start eating my cold soup, one spoonful at a time. My house was quiet. It always was ever since my dad died three years ago. He had a heart attack and he was gone before the ambulance even got him to the hospital. My mom was always trying to keep everything calm and in tact. She was tall, blonde, and had pretty blue eyes. She was always smiling and making the best of the situation. I definitely didn’t get my look, or attitude, from her. I was tall, brown haired, and had brown eyes. My mom always said I looked exactly like my dad. I heard my mom talking on the phone in the other room. I got up and grabbed the other land-line phone and listened in. “…Well who else got sick?” my mother asked. A man with a deep voice started talking and I recognized him as my principal, Mr. Gonzales, “Keith, Kayla, and Khloe Johnson, Taylor and Cassandra Layser, Mason Downey, Aaron Stepps, Tatum Oliver, Mitchie Tyler, and of course, your daughter.” My mom started making a humming noise on the other end of the phone. “Okay, thank you so much, Haydin is in her room resting so I better go check on her, thank you so much for calling.” Just as Mr. Gonzales was starting to thank her back, I clicked off the phone, and ran back to the table so my mom didn’t know I eavesdropped on her. I made it back to the table before she walked into the room. “Oh,“ she said surprised, “ Good Morning, Sweetie. Are you feeling better?” Her short curls were tied back in a bun and a pencil was stuck through it. She was also wearing a tank top and shorts, which meant she had been painting. She wasn’t a professional, she just did it for fun, but she was really good. “Not much better,” I say frowning, “I still feel dizzy all the time, and I am burning up.” She sat down oh-so-motherly next to me and patted my hand. “If you aren’t better by tomorrow, I’ll take you to the doctor.” I smile sympathetically, trying not to hurt her feelings, and shake my head “ok”. She kisses my forehead with her thin, pale lips and starts walking to the other room. “If you need me, just call me,” she said over her shoulder. I tried finishing my soup, but my stomach refused, so I just put it in the fridge.

need advice on where to purchase carpet for the whole house for a good price (cheap) like discontinue carpets and things like that. thank you all in advance.

You can do whatever you want if you own your own home. There are several types of vinyl tiles that replicate hardwood flooring…so I could see someone putting that in a family room I guess. I personally wouldn’t think it would be practical with kids since it gets dinged up easily. I would stick with old reliable laminate floors in a living room myself. It’s easy to install and much more durable.

I want to prevent my kids from the carpet dust by laying the vinyl sheet over the carpet. As i am renting unit i don’t want to fix the vinyl sheet with the carpet to prevent the carpet from damage, what is the best way to do so ?
Also, where could i find “Cheap” Vinyl flooring in Sydney ? Thanks to all of you in advance for your help.

I wanted to repaint my room and I would like to keep the carpet that I have. What color wall paint would be a good way to balance the purple carpet out? The molding is pure white and the carpet is a medium-light purple outlining the carpet and a darker purple on the inside. I am a teenager but I would like to keep it elegant but fun, if possible. Thanks for your help. (Points will be rewarded to the best answer.)
