What Is The Best Type Of Carpet To Buy If You Have Dogs?

Author: I have berber and it’s miserable, traffic stains every week. My dachshund is also a digger and has easily dug 2 holes in different areas. Although when the dogs shed you can barely see it in the carpet.
I also have a rug in the living room that attracts dog hair and is almost possible to clean up.
What is the best type to buy next time? Something thick? What color disguises traffic dirt and dog hair?
I Need Some Advice On A Hard Floor For My House, That Is Scratch Resistent Due To Dogs.?
75lb German Shepherd, we keep her nails short, but our foyer wood floor is so scratched up. I’ve been looking into bamboo cork, I don’t know hwo much I like stone as I have a 1 year old and he falls on his face a lot. What do you think?
How Well Do Laminate Floors Hold Up With Dogs Compared To Wood Floors?
I want to put laminate or real bamboo floors in our kitchen. Laminate is easier to install, but I’m concerned the finish will be scratched up by the dog, same concern with the real bamboo, too.
The dog is about 50 pounds; he doesn’t dig or abuse the floors, but the back door and his food bowl are in there so he’s in the kitchen quite often.
Of anyone here has dogs and wood/laminate floors, I’d like to hear your experience with them.
