How Do You Determine How Much Deposit To Keep For Wood Floor Damage?

Author: I have a tenant who rented an apartemnt from me. She got a dog and when I was showing her apartment to new tenants I noticed that the wood floors had tons of little scratches/dents in them.
The floors were brand new when she moved in (she was the first to walk on them). They can’t be resurfaced (bamboo) so how do I figure out how much to remove from her deposit seeing as I can’t spend a particular $ amount to fix.
Her deposit is ~$1000 by the way. The apt is about 900sq/ft.

What Kind Of Scatter Rugs Will Not Damage My Off White Vinyl Flooring?
I have vinyl flooring in my bathroom that is 3 years old. It was part of a modular home, so I don’t know what brand it is, but we chose the upgraded quality of flooring. I bought a non-slip scatter rug. It caused my off white flooring to turn yellow where it laid in less than a year. I threw it away and bought a different non-slip runner. When mopping the floor, I can already see the image of the ridges of the new runner’s non-slip material. What kind of rug is safe to use with vinyls, and still not slide all over? Can I do anything about the yellowing? Thanks.

Can My Bamboo Flooring Be Salvaged From Water Damage From Dog Pee…?
My dog has been peeing nearby the exercise machine for a couple mos. and I didn’t think to look under the rubber mat, I didn’t even realize she had been peeing there as I hardly ever use the room. I lifted the mat today and found 2 mos. worth of pee trapped under the mat, not only was it disgusting, but the bamboo floor boards are blackened under the matt…is there ANYTHING I can do, or is it hopeless? I’m thinking they have to be replaced but that will be expensive and at the moment I can’t afford it. UGH! HELP!!!
