What Would The Approx Cost Of Carpet Be For A 660 Square Foot Basement With The Carpet Pad Included?
We are going to be getting quotes here shortly, and I wanted to have a number in mind that this should be around. We aren’t going for top of the line, but we don’t want junk either. What thickness should we get for the carpet pad as well? Also, we are not at all interested in burber, so thats not even in the equation.

How Much Would It Cost To Bind Two Pieces Of Carpet For A Bedroom And Living Room?
I am moving into a condo that has Pergo flooring throughout. I would like to put down binded carpet in both the living room (16×14) and the bedroom (12×11) because I prefer carpet, but I would like the next owner to be able to easily return to Pergo if they would like.
How much do you think a job like this would cost? Thanks for your help!

Does Anyone Have Bamboo Flooring? Do You Like It And What Is The Cost?
I agonized about bamboo flooring for a long time and did all the research. You can get a price comparable to a mid-range laminate if you purchase online. You can purchase solid or thin veneer bamboo. Both can be resurfaced just like wood.
Pros: renewable resource…very “green”. Nice look, works with a clean modern style. Reasonable cost, do online search for best price. Durable. Installs just like traditional flooring types. Can be resurfaced, unlike laminate.
Cons: You can get some traditional items cheaper, if you are going for dirt cheapest, not the right choice. (You can get Ikea laminate practically free, but it isn’t the top quality) There is a soft scratch tendency just like many natural wood types. There are only two colors…very light and very dark.
Ultimately, I chose laminate because the very light and very dark color choice options unfortunately did not match our existing decor. If you have a very modern look, it will probably work. I really like the product and it has a funky look, and is “green.”
