How Do I Remove Rubbing Alcohol Stain From My Carpet?

Author: I sprayed alcohol directly onto my carpet in order to clean some fresh water-based paint. I was able to remove the paint but the alcohol created stain on my carpet.
How Can I Remove Isoprophyl Alcohol Stain In My Vinyl Flooring? It Left An Acid Dot Stains In My Floor. Help?
Are you sure that it was isopropyl alcohol that did this to your floor?
Isopropyl/rubbing alcohol is often recommended (by vinyl flooring manufacturers) to clean Black heel marks, Hair dye, Latex paint, Lipstick, Mercurochrome / Merthiolate & Pen ink from vinyl flooring.
I’ve used alcohol to remove residue from some of the above, even letting it stand (for up to 1/2 hour) on latex paint until it softened, without anything but the paint wiping off.
You could try acetone…it’s also recommended as a cleaner on vinyl.
