What Other Chemicals Can I Use To Clean Up My Carpet,besides Oxysteam Carpet Cleaner?

Author: I rented this Carpet Cleaner(Rug Doctor), but I am running out of the chemical that came along with it,oxysteam, but I have 2 more rooms to go. Any home remedies which do the cleaning trick? I have 24 hrs before I can return it, so I need help..Thanks.

i am a fire,mold,disaster contractor……at work we use our semi trucks……with steam cleaners & enviromental chemicals…but at home….i only use dreft baby laundry detergent…..1/2 stength mix with hot h2o before putting in rug doctor…it smells great & your carpets will be fluffy….use a scotch guard only if u need it……it will firm up your carpet……
Baking soda and laudry soap.
Dont get the water too soapy or foamy.
I also add a splash of fabric softner.
