How Do You Remove Skittles From Carpet?

Author: My lovely ten year old dropped a purple Skittle in the backseat of the car, under the floor mat and it’s throughly smashed into the carpet. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to remove it?

Any kind of gooey spill can be cleaned this way:
Pick off excess candy.
Place a very wet cloth on top of the area.
Wait a couple of hours.
Remove the cloth and wipe the area.
The cloth should soak up the candy!
pick them up
scrub it using laundry detergent and water, and by using a hard toothbrush
Try taking it to the car wash and using the carpet shampooer or just scrub it eith soap and water.
